When Roberta Gentile, founder of Tu&Tu was a litlle girl she was talking to the wind and was convinced she could fly: 'I would run headlong down hills waving my arms in the air. From those years, I have kept the yearning of symbiosis with nature & a sense of magic & wonder. Still now my fantasy is my richest resource: as a musician, & since I was a child my creativity has sought material & visual expression: the desire to confront myself with fabrics, fascinated by their texture & deep meaning that flows from the creative gesture & satisfies my curious nature in search of the hidden & unusual. Vegetarian for many years, I worked to defend animals & the environment, ethics & respect are the basis of my daily life. Tu&Tu project collects & enhances my life entirely; the dreams of a child surrounded by nature, in search of beauty with full respect of other beings, human & non-human'.

TU&TU is a contemporary fashion brand. It operates with full respect for the eco system, people & other living creatures.

They select fabrics with low environmental imlact: certified organic yarns & textiles, eco-sustainable & recycled materials. TU&TU is animal friendly & doesn’t use any material which required their death or maltreatment of any kind.

TU&TU stands outside the fast-fashion concept. It upholds a people-centered philosophy, in which the individual is not a passive consumer but a person with a vision whose choices generate changes & new values. TU&TU encourages ethical consumption by offering high-quality stylish yet durable garments, that can take a lot of wear & tear before eventually being recycled once more.
