Recycled

It is estimated that over 1 million tons of textiles are thrown away each year from both industrial & post consumer waste. Recovery & recycling provide both environmental & economic benefits.

Recycling reduces the need for landfill space. Textiles present particular problems in landfill as synthetic products, (man made fibres), will not decompose. Woollen garments will but they produce Methane, which contributes to global warming.

Recycling reduces pressure on virgin resources & aids the balance of payments as we then import fewer materials for our needs, hence, less pollution & energy savings.
